Audit Manager

About the role

This position leads audit and review engagements for a full‑service CPA firm serving a diverse client base, including real‑estate owners, not‑for‑profits and other entities. The role offers a blend of on‑site collaboration in a suburban office and flexible remote work options.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise audits and review engagements from start to finish.
• Manage client relationships and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Review workpapers, ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and oversee junior staff, providing guidance on audit methodology.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of public‑accounting audit experience, preferably at a Big 4 or large regional/national CPA firm.
• CPA designation completed or in progress.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Tax experience is a plus.
