About the role

As an Audit Korean Business Network Intern at PwC, you will support financial statement audits for Korean‑owned clients, gaining hands‑on experience with PwC’s audit methodology and regulatory standards. The summer 2027 placement offers a structured learning environment where you can develop technical accounting skills while working alongside seasoned professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Korean business clients.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with GAAP and GAAS.
• Assist in applying audit methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability of audit work.
• Perform data analysis to identify financial trends and insights.
• Collaborate with team members to document processes and maintain data quality and security.
• Utilize technical accounting knowledge to address complex transactions and reporting issues.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand PwC’s practices.
• Adopt a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (3.5 preferred).
• Fluent in Korean and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before full‑time start.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
