About the role

As an Audit Intern in PwC’s Assurance practice in Dallas, you will gain hands‑on experience in financial statement audits while supporting client‑service teams. The position runs during the Winter 2028 term and is designed for candidates aiming to pursue the CPA designation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings and maintain organized workpapers.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in audit tasks.
• Support evaluation of internal controls and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
