About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Seattle as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and learning how to apply industry‑standard methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and applying audit methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision‑making.
• Document audit processes, findings, and maintain organized records.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and evaluate internal controls.
• Utilize data analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors to build foundational audit knowledge.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to a full‑time role.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills
