About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Louisville as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and learning PwC’s methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Document audit processes and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles while performing audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data analysis skills to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors to build foundational audit knowledge.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
