Audit Internship – Summer 2028 in Silicon Valley

About the role

As an Audit Intern at PwC in Silicon Valley, you will join the Assurance practice for the Summer 2028 term. The role provides hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits, allowing you to learn PwC’s methodologies and develop a solid foundation in audit and accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles throughout audit tasks.
• Assist in evaluating internal controls and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor risk factors and financial trends.
• Utilise data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors during client engagements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to a full‑time role.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills
