About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Greensboro as a Summer 2028 Audit Intern. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and PwC’s proprietary methodologies while developing a solid foundation for a future CPA career.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Participate in the review and verification of financial documents to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in applying auditing methodologies and accounting standards.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors to understand PwC’s best practices.
• Conduct basic research and data‑gathering tasks that contribute to project goals.
• Analyze data, identify patterns, and help formulate recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold transparency and integrity in financial reporting.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (preference for 3.5).
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.
