About the role

Join PwC's Assurance practice as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2028 term. You will gain hands‑on experience with financial statement audits, learn PwC’s methodologies, and develop a solid foundation for a future CPA career.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and insights.
• Document audit procedures and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles throughout audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe experienced auditors and learn client interaction best practices.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state before full‑time employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
