About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Dallas as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2028 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and learning how to apply professional methodologies in a real‑world environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles while learning PwC’s audit methodology.
• Collaborate with team members to assess internal controls and risk factors.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state where you will be employed.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
• Strong analytical and data‑analysis abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow structured audit procedures.
