About the role

As an Audit Intern for PwC in Rochester, you will join the Assurance practice for the Summer 2027 term. The position offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will observe and support financial statement audits, gaining insight into regulatory compliance and audit methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with GAAP and GAAS.

• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply audit standards and contribute to the assessment of internal controls.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Strong academic background and interest in audit and assurance.
