About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Richmond. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and learning how to apply professional methodologies in a real‑world environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Understanding of GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
