About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Louisville as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and learning the firm’s methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and identifying trends.
• Document audit procedures and findings.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk and evaluate internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors during client engagements.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state before full‑time employment.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
