About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Miami as an Audit Intern for the Winter 2028 term. You will work in a dynamic learning environment, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits and supporting client initiatives while developing a solid foundation in audit methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Document audit processes and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to build audit practice knowledge.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Data analysis abilities to support audit procedures.
