About the role
As an Audit Intern in Greensboro, you will join PwC’s Assurance practice for the Winter 2028 term. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits, allowing you to observe and support the audit process while learning PwC’s methodologies and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with GAAP and GAAS.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
- Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
- Support the evaluation of internal controls and risk assessments.
- Apply data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
- Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
