About the role

As an Audit Intern in PwC’s Assurance practice, you will join a dynamic team in San Juan for the Winter 2027 term. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits, allowing you to observe and support the audit process while developing a solid foundation in accounting and assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analysing financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and maintain organized workpapers.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilise data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe experienced auditors and learn client interaction best practices.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• In the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program at the time of application.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Basic data‑analysis abilities.
