About the role

As an Audit Intern in PwC’s Assurance practice, you will join a dynamic team in Oklahoma City and gain hands‑on experience with financial statement audits. The winter 2027 internship offers a structured learning environment where you will observe and support audit engagements, develop an understanding of GAAP and GAAS, and build a foundation for a career in audit and assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analysing financial data, identifying trends, and preparing insights.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilise data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe experienced auditors and learn client interaction best practices.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
