About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice as an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, gaining hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits while supporting client‑focused initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors during client engagements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Basic data‑analysis abilities.
