About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice in Denver as an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will gain hands‑on experience in financial statement audits, learn PwC’s methodologies, and support client engagements while developing a solid foundation in audit and accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and applying auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and maintain organized workpapers.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before full‑time start.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Familiarity with GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
• Basic data‑analysis abilities.
