About the role

As an Audit Intern at PwC in Atlanta, you will join the Assurance practice during the Winter 2027 term. The role offers hands‑on exposure to financial statement audits, allowing you to observe and support the audit process while learning PwC’s methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Support the evaluation of internal controls and risk assessments.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles under guidance of senior auditors.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Strong academic foundation and willingness to learn in a professional environment.

Required skills

• Understanding of GAAP and GAAS concepts.
