About the role

As an Audit Intern at PwC in Portland for the Summer 2028 term, you will join the Assurance practice and gain hands‑on experience in financial statement audits. The role offers a structured learning environment where you will observe and contribute to audit engagements, develop an understanding of GAAP and GAAS, and build a foundation for a future CPA career.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and applying PwC methodologies.

• Assist in evaluating internal controls and suggesting improvements.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time at PwC.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
