Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and applying auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and maintain organized workpapers.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles in day‑to‑day tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors on client interactions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically a third‑year student in a four‑year program or fourth‑year student in a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Basic data‑analysis abilities.
