About the role

As an Audit Intern at PwC in Boston you will join the Assurance practice for the Summer 2028 term. The position offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will observe and support financial statement audits, gaining insight into regulatory compliance and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and workpapers in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles to audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Learn from experienced auditors and contribute to client engagements.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Currently in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
