About the role

As an Audit Intern for the Summer 2028 term, you will join PwC’s Assurance practice in Baltimore. The role offers a hands‑on learning environment where you will observe and support financial statement audits, gaining insight into audit methodology and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision‑making.
• Document audit procedures and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles while performing audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
