About the role

Join PwC's Assurance practice in Cincinnati as an Audit Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced auditors, supporting financial statement audits and gaining hands‑on exposure to PwC’s audit methodologies and client service processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights.
• Document audit procedures and findings in an organized manner.
• Apply GAAP and GAAS principles during audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and internal controls.
• Utilize data‑analysis techniques to enhance audit quality.
• Observe and learn from senior auditors to build foundational audit knowledge.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Data‑analysis abilities.
