Audit Intern – Japanese Business Network (Summer 2027)

About the role

Join PwC’s Assurance practice as an Audit Intern focused on the Japanese Business Network. You will support audit teams delivering financial statement audits for Japanese‑owned clients, gaining hands‑on exposure to PwC’s methodologies and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in planning and executing financial statement audits.
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance with GAAP and GAAS.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and support audit conclusions.
• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to address issues and manage audit risks.
• Observe and learn PwC’s audit methodologies and internal‑control frameworks.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Fluent in Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before transitioning to full‑time.

Required skills

• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Understanding of GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards).
• Basic technical accounting and data‑analysis abilities.
