About the role
Modus is seeking an experienced Audit Director to lead and oversee audit engagements for a diverse client base. The role combines technical oversight, staff development, and business growth initiatives within a purpose‑built AI‑enhanced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and review audit engagements to ensure quality and compliance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff at all levels.
- Identify technical accounting and regulatory issues early and drive timely resolution.
- Contribute to business development efforts and help expand the practice.
Required profile
- CPA certification is mandatory.
- Strong client relationship and communication abilities.
- Experience auditing nursing homes, HUD, or manufacturing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid cost reports is highly valued.
