About the role
As an Audit Associate in PwC’s Assurance practice, you will support financial statement audits for a variety of clients. The position is based in Rochester and begins in the summer/fall of 2027. You will develop technical expertise while contributing to high‑quality audit engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Perform financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
- Apply audit methodologies to evaluate internal controls and financial documents.
- Review and verify accuracy of client financial records.
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends and provide insights.
- Document audit procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to address audit findings.
- Maintain clear communication with client management.
- Support project timelines and deliverables.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
- Data analysis and interpretation abilities.
- Technical accounting proficiency.
