About the role

As an Audit Associate at PwC, you will take part in financial statement audits, helping ensure the transparency and integrity of client reporting. This entry‑level position offers exposure to a variety of clients within the Assurance practice and supports your development of technical and professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls.
• Review and verify financial records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide insights.
• Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and develop solutions.
• Document audit processes to improve efficiency.
• Support client communication and respond to inquiries.
• Assist in project management tasks to meet audit timelines.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Interest in an entry‑level assurance role and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Data analysis and interpretation abilities.
