About the role

As an Audit Associate at PwC, you will join the Assurance practice in Jacksonville, supporting financial statement audits for a diverse client base. This position is designed for candidates entering the profession in Summer/Fall 2027, offering hands‑on experience with audit methodologies and exposure to regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
• Apply audit methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls.
• Review and verify financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide insights.
• Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and develop solutions.
• Document audit processes to improve efficiency.
• Communicate with client management and respond to inquiries.
• Support project management tasks to meet audit timelines.
• Resolve complex financial reporting issues using technical accounting knowledge.
• Validate data quality and protect sensitive information.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Near completion of final academic year or recent graduate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Familiarity with audit methodologies and internal‑control testing.
• Data analysis and financial statement analysis capabilities.
