Audit Associate – Summer/Fall 2027

About the role

PwC is seeking an Audit Associate to join its Assurance practice in Detroit for the Summer/Fall 2027 period. In this entry‑level position you will support financial statement audits, help clients meet regulatory requirements, and develop a solid foundation in audit methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
• Apply audit methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls.
• Review and verify financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and provide insights.
• Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and develop solutions.
• Document audit processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain clear communication with client management.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Data analysis and interpretation abilities.
• Technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
