Audit Associate – Summer/Fall 2027 in Atlanta

About the role

As an Audit Associate at PwC in Atlanta, you will join the Assurance practice to perform financial statement audits for a variety of clients. The position starts in the summer/fall of 2027 and offers a pathway to develop technical expertise and professional judgment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
• Assess internal controls and evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and support audit conclusions.
• Document audit procedures and findings to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with senior staff and client teams to address audit issues and deliver recommendations.
• Assist in project management tasks to meet audit timelines.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Near completion of final academic year or recent graduate.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Experience with financial statement audit procedures.
• Ability to conduct data analysis and interpret financial trends.
• Technical accounting proficiency.
