Audio-Visual/Info Tech Specialist

About the role

Albany Technical College is seeking a motivated Audio‑Visual/Info Tech Specialist to support faculty, staff, and campus events. The role involves managing instructional technology, multimedia workstations, and audio‑visual equipment across multiple campus locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for instructional delivery, computer networks, interactive whiteboards, and multimedia workstations.
• Coordinate setup and operation of audio‑visual equipment for campus events, including the Phoebe Living Learning Center.
• Maintain an inventory system for all audio‑visual and technology equipment.
• Facilitate educational training on AV technologies.
• Support on‑demand and streaming video capture and processing.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum three years of related work experience; experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least two years of experience in an educational environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
