Audio Visual Technician

About the role

PEAKE is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to support the build‑out and maintenance of audiovisual and network infrastructure on a government installation at Fort Gordon, GA. The role is hands‑on, requiring installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV systems for live and recorded events.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, and dismantle AV equipment such as microphones, speakers, video walls, cameras, and servers.
• Configure and program Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems, including touch panels, DSPs, and switchers.
• Route, terminate, and label CAT 6 and fiber‑optic cabling, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Validate signal flow, audio clarity, and visual output before events.
• Integrate AV systems with network infrastructure as required.
• Coordinate with facility stakeholders to meet client and mission requirements.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated individual with strong attention to detail and ability to follow government safety and installation procedures.
• Willingness to obtain a security clearance; PEAKE will sponsor qualified candidates.
