About the role

Feldman Kramer & Monaco, a dynamic law firm with offices in Syracuse and Hauppauge, is seeking a self‑motivated Associate to join its progressive team serving the Buffalo, New York area. The role focuses on executing will contracts and providing client‑focused trust and estate advice, without billable hour targets.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on trusts, estates, asset protection, and related legal matters.
• Interpret statutes, rulings, and regulations affecting estate planning.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, deeds, estate documents, and contracts.
• Maintain extensive client contact, including on‑site visits.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to a state bar.
• Minimum three years of experience practicing Wills & Estate law.
• Highly motivated self‑starter comfortable with client interaction.
• Strong writing ability and commitment to confidentiality.

Required skills

• Detailed knowledge of Wills & Estate laws.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and research capabilities.
• Effective organizational and time‑management skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and ability to ask pertinent questions.
