About the role
The Attendance & Registration Technician maintains accurate student records and performs daily attendance accounting for a Tucson Unified School District school. This position supports the school’s administrative team by ensuring attendance data is captured, reported, and stored in compliance with district policies.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily student attendance and verify accuracy of attendance logs.
- Maintain and update student registration files and demographic information.
- Generate attendance reports for teachers, administrators, and district officials.
- Assist with attendance audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide customer service to parents, staff, and students regarding attendance inquiries.
Required profile
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Three years of experience in general office procedures or attendance accounting.
- Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check.
- Proof of immunity to measles and rubella or documented MMR immunization.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
