About the role
The Athletic Communications Associate supports the promotion and publicity of 18 NCAA Division III sports at SUNY Plattsburgh. This full‑time, 12‑month position involves working evenings and weekends to ensure timely coverage of athletic events and programs.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain statistics and records for all varsity sports.
- Update and design content for the athletics website.
- Produce and edit video highlights and promotional material.
- Supervise and train student workers in media and communications tasks.
- Utilize StatCrew and other relevant software for data management and reporting.
Required profile
- Demonstrated understanding of diversity, inclusion, and equity‑focused policies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Experience with StatCrew or similar sports statistics platforms.
- Proficiency in video editing software.
- Website design and content management capabilities.
