A&T Technician III – Hydraulic Assembly & Test

About the role

Moog is seeking an A&T Technician III to join its Space and Defense Group in Elma, NY. The role focuses on hydraulic assembly, testing, and process‑based operations for complex components supporting new production, repair, and overhaul activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic assembly, test, and process operations on complex hydraulic components and systems.
• Use mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Interpret drawings, work instructions, and parts lists, and document performance results.
• Set up and execute operational tests on high‑precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Diagnose test failures, assess hardware condition, and recommend rework or configuration changes.
• Handle daily production administration tasks to support overall operations.
• Occasionally travel to customer facilities or other Moog locations and work off‑shift hours as needed.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred, with demonstrated ability to follow verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related technical field.
