A&T Technician II – Assembly & Test

About the role

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking an A&T Technician II to perform assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic and electro‑mechanical components. The position is based onsite in Buffalo, NY and reports to the Performance Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble valves, actuators and systems using electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools and cleaning devices.
• Perform high‑reliability soldering and crimping of wires on complex sub‑assemblies.
• Interpret drawings, worksheets, parts lists and work instructions to build and repair units.
• Diagnose and rework units that fail test requirements.
• Conduct functional testing following defined procedures.
• Work on hydraulic stands and support production‑line repairs.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED preferred; ability to follow verbal, written and computer instructions in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Minimum three years of experience in a related technical field.
