A&T Technician I – 2nd Shift

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician I for a 2nd‑shift, onsite position in East Aurora, New York. The role involves precision assembly and testing of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical components used in aerospace systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of valves, actuators, and related systems using mechanical measuring tools.
• Conduct functional tests with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy using torque wrenches, gauges, and fixtures.
• Interpret assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and test specifications.
• Diagnose test failures, execute rework, and ensure units meet test criteria.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels and assist with repair units.
• Contribute to team productivity, data collection, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED (preferred) with ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical assembly or test environment.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Eligibility to enroll in Moog’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program for safety‑sensitive work.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and test specifications.
