Assurance Senior Associate – Health Industries

About the role

As an Assurance Senior Associate focused on Health Industries, you will provide independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls for clients in the pharma and life‑sciences sector. You will work within PwC’s Assurance practice, building client relationships while delivering high‑quality audit work.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent assessments of financial statements and internal controls to enhance credibility.
• Evaluate compliance with regulations and assess governance and risk‑management processes.
• Obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are free from material misstatement.
• Issue auditor reports that include professional opinions on financial information.
• Interpret data to generate insights and recommendations for client engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
• Uphold PwC technical and professional standards, including independence requirements.
• Anticipate team and client needs to deliver quality work in complex situations.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Preference for a degree in Accounting.
• Current pursuit of, or an active, CPA license is a plus.
