Associate/Assistant Professor – Organizational Behavior/HRM or Strategic Management

About the role

The Rucks Department of Management at LSU invites applications for a tenure‑track faculty position at the Associate or Assistant Professor level, focusing on Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management or Strategic Management. The appointment begins in Fall 2027 and combines teaching, research, and service responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the chosen focus area (approximately two courses per semester).
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda, publishing in top‑tier management journals.
• Contribute to departmental service, including committee work and student mentorship.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or DBA in Management or a closely related field (ABD candidates considered for Assistant level).
• For Assistant Professors: 0‑5 years of relevant experience; for Associate Professors: 6+ years.
• Demonstrated excellence or strong potential in both research and teaching within Organizational Behavior/HRM or Strategic Management.
