About the role
The Associate Vice Chancellor for Advancement provides senior leadership and strategic oversight of the University of Arkansas at Monticello Foundation. Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the role guides fundraising, alumni affairs, development, special events and overall institutional advancement.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the UAM Foundation and collaborate with its leadership to advance philanthropic initiatives.
- Lead and support fundraising, alumni relations, development, and special events programs.
- Supervise advancement staff, fostering strong donor and alumni relationships.
- Coordinate Chancellor‑assigned special projects and institutional initiatives.
- Drive strategic planning and execution to move university priorities forward.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in higher‑education advancement or related fields.
- Strong collaborative and relationship‑building abilities.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, fundraising, and alumni engagement.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
