Associate Test Engineer - Product Development

About the role

Analog Devices (ADI) is hiring an Associate Test Engineer in its Product Development team. The role designs and implements testing methodologies for semiconductor products and works across all phases of product development and manufacturing. It is an entry-level position offering a solid foundation for a career in test engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement cost-effective testing methodologies to validate system and equipment performance
• Assist in preparing test and diagnostic programs to evaluate product functionality and performance metrics
• Support the design of test fixtures and equipment, and help define test setups that stress devices for standards compliance
• Contribute to planning labor, schedules and equipment allocation for testing activities
• Take part in troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues during product development
• Ensure testing processes follow established quality standards
• Help design PCBs for test setups and evaluation boards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 0-2 years of experience in test engineering or a related field
• Graduate job; about 10% travel required

Required skills

• Ability to write structured test cases and document clear testing procedures
• Basic understanding of diagnostic testing and qualification testing concepts
• Fundamental knowledge of PCB design and simple test fixture design
• Basic skills in estimating resource needs for testing
