About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial real‑estate initiatives in New York. This contract position offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent role and provides the chance to work closely with cross‑functional teams, clients, and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing assigned projects, managing timelines, deliverables, and daily coordination.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain accurate project records for easy stakeholder access.
- Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with client expectations, company procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments to align scope, scheduling, and operational priorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend meetings and site visits to track progress, gather updates, and help resolve schedule, quality, or execution issues.
- Support quality oversight by identifying gaps, escalating concerns, and maintaining consistent project controls.
- Apply industry best practices to improve organization, communication, and overall execution.
- Assist with space‑planning, move coordination, or furniture reconfiguration projects as needed.
- Provide timely communication on milestones, next steps, and status updates to team members and stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline (preferred).
- 2‑4 years of project management or closely related experience in commercial real estate, construction, or a similar environment.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with capacity to handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build productive relationships.
- Familiarity with construction processes and general commercial real‑estate project practices.
- Experience supporting move management, workplace changes, or furniture reconfiguration projects (preferred).
- Project management or change management certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate within a team, and travel for meetings or site visits as required.
