Associate Professor (CW)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a full‑time CW Associate Professor to join its academic faculty. This position is an Academic Affiliate role focused on teaching, research, and service within the College of Health Professions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses using Blackboard and other instructional technologies.
• Develop and update curriculum, course materials, and assessments.
• Engage in scholarly research and contribute to the university’s research agenda.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (PhD) in a relevant discipline.
• Current CCC‑SLP certification.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
