Associate Product Engineer – Buffalo, NY

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Associate Product Engineer to join its Product Engineering team in East Aurora, NY. The role supports the full product life‑cycle, from development through production, ensuring product integrity and efficient manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for assembly and test operations, creating clear work instructions, Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP/PAT) and engineering memos.
• Maintain Electronic Historical Record (EHR) entries and assist with Material Review Board (MRB) analyses.
• Support equipment evaluation and implementation, including fixtures, tools, flow‑line systems and test equipment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve production issues and improve first‑pass yield.
• Participate in design change activities: redline drawings, attend Change Review Board (CRB) meetings and initiate ECN processes.
• Identify and drive producibility and quality improvements in both product design and manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with assembly, test and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Product lifecycle documentation (work instructions, ATP/PAT, EHR).
• Experience with MRB analysis and design change processes (CRB, ECN).
• Familiarity with manufacturing fixtures, tools and test equipment.
