Associate Process Engineer – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

Join Bosch's expanding semiconductor business in Roseville as an Associate Process Engineer. You will work on cutting‑edge silicon‑carbide wafer production, applying engineering principles to improve yield, quality, and productivity in a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and optimizing semiconductor manufacturing processes such as photolithography, etching, deposition, and ion implantation.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams to select, install, calibrate, and maintain high‑precision manufacturing equipment.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify yield improvement opportunities and reduce defects.
• Develop and implement process enhancements that increase quality and efficiency.
• Work on advanced materials and integration processes, partnering with materials scientists and researchers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and comply with industry standards, quality, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering or wafer fabrication.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex manufacturing issues.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
