Associate Portfolio Manager – High Yield

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to support its IFI High Yield team. Working under a Senior Portfolio Manager, you will help construct and manage high‑yield portfolios across multiple strategies, translating credit research into actionable investment ideas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with portfolio construction, sector positioning, rating allocation, and risk monitoring.
• Analyze performance and attribution to identify contributors and detractors.
• Monitor macro, technical, and fundamental market drivers and contribute to investment discussions.
• Prepare client presentations and investor communications.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and traders in team meetings and investment processes.
• Support development of portfolio analytics, tools, and investment frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience supporting an investment team or related function.
• Progress toward CFA designation is an asset.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with Aladdin tools.
• Experience with AI‑driven models and portfolio analytics tools.
• Knowledge of corporate capital structures and valuation methodologies.
