Associate or Full Professor – Research Track in Neonatology

About the role

The Division of Neonatology & Newborn Services at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia seeks outstanding scholars for Associate or Full Professor positions on a non‑tenure research track. Candidates will join a leading academic environment focused on cutting‑edge neonatal research and education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality basic laboratory research in neonatology, developmental or molecular medicine.
• Develop and maintain a national (and for Full Professors, international) reputation for independent or collaborative research.
• Publish research findings in peer‑reviewed journals and secure external funding.
• Mentor postdoctoral fellows and clinical fellows, providing guidance on research projects.
• Deliver formal lectures and educational sessions within the Division and Department of Pediatrics.

Required profile

• MD or MD/PhD degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine (American Board of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine).
• Evidence of a strong publication record in neonatology or related fields.
• For Full Professor rank, documented international reputation for scientific accomplishments.
