Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Clinical Coordinator

About the role

Lanier Technical College’s Forsyth Campus is seeking an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Clinical Coordinator to oversee and enhance the clinical learning experiences for our nursing students. This full‑time, benefit‑eligible position reports to the Dean of Allied Health and plays a key role in linking classroom instruction with real‑world patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners and manage student placements.
• Coordinate Clinical Instructors, oversee clinical contracts, and ensure appropriate assignment of students to sites.
• Collaborate with ASN faculty to support curriculum delivery and student success.
• Provide temporary classroom or clinical coverage as needed.
• Assist with ACEN accreditation activities and other duties assigned by the Dean.
• Travel within the college’s service area and occasionally to other campuses.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (as defined by GBON Rules & Regulations, Rule 410‑8‑.05 for faculty).
• Relevant nursing licensure and experience in clinical education or coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, clinical sites, and students.

Required skills

• Clinical site coordination and contract management.
• Knowledge of nursing accreditation standards (e.g., ACEN).
• Student placement and scheduling.
